Do you jazz up mashed potatoes?

I bought a few packs of mashed potatoe mix the other day. I think it was butter and herb. Well it was the beat mashed potatoes I ever made. I like to make things by scratch at home. But,this was great. I will try to remember to buy other flavors next time........Have a great day!

Hi. Linda4ualways. Yes, I do love to jazz up my mashed potatoes. I like to add black pepper, garlic and cheese. This is so yummy. I love homemade mashed potatoes much better though.
I have bought the mashed potatoes mix many times. I have some in my kitchen cabinet right now too. My youngest daughter loves mashed potatoes from out of the bag. It smells so good when it is mixed up together though.

How fun and exciting to try something new and that you enjoyed!
I pretty much do my mashed potatoes the same but I used to do them pretty boring until one of my good friends showed me to add cheese to it. Now I always add cheese haha. YUMMY!

Flavored mashed potatoes are simply delicious, whether homemade or out of the box. I like the Garlic and Herb most, although mashed potatoes with cheese is yummy too. I'm not sure what other flavors are offered out of a box, but I think one can find some recipes online for that.
