Where do you get free shopping bags?

I know that from time to time some companies give away FREE shopping bags. I'd like to have couple. Where do you get such bags? I'm only interested in free items. Thanks.

Well, if you have cats and dogs, PetSmart gave away a some recycled bags a while ago for people who bought a certain amount of cat food or dog food. It was a pretty nice deal.
