Do you ever feel like there isn't enough time in the day?

I feel like there isn't enough time in the day to get everything I want to get done. I feel like my schedule is so jam packed.
I mean, school starts in 2 weeks and so does my part time job. And I'm working on a website and trying to finish a novel with my boyfriend. And I wanted to learn henna tattooing and jewelry beading and I don't think I'll have the time.
Do yoi ever feel like there isn't enough time in one day to do everything you want? What do you usually accomplish in one day?

Just don't over do it sis. Just seize the day. Enjoy every moment and let it take time. What's important is your priority in your life and then do the remaining for relaxing. Don't rush things but if you can multi-task then do it as long as it doesn't harm you.
But always remember not to get too exhausted in things even though you have a lot of things to do. Always watch for your health so that you can do more. Have a good day ahead!

Great words of wisdom Mimeux. It reminds me of my cousin who has a computer company where they are contracted with the Detroit water deparment. He also runs a two week camp for the kids in the summer. He is alwasy busy. Lately, (such as last night) I was shocked at how he is losing his memory. I talked to him Wednesday and he forgot what we discussed on Tuesday night. It scares me because he is younger than me and yet he has let his business ruin his health in his quest to get rich, which he has succeeded in doing.

Hatley, I see you do Mysurvey too. To me, that's one of the greatest survey sites.

You are really busy. I agree. Days are just too short. I have a big house to clean and think I am going to do one chore each day but then I wake up with an aching back and sit here. Don't accomplish much in the house but eventually I get around to cleaning. I need more hours and more energy!

Yes, i feel that there isn't enough time for me also. i need to settle all those assignment given in class, preparing for the coming test, some personal stuff and...it is really not enough time to settle all of them in time. what i did normally is sacrifices my sleeping time, i used to sleep very late when i have to finish something on time. i know this is not a good habit, wish that i can have better time management.

Yes, I have the same problem. I usually ran out of time. What I do to have a satisfying day though is to finish at least one or two significant items in a day. I try to focus on the work at hand and try to identify which should be prioritized and which needs to be done. Then I move on maintenance or things that are essential to do like exercises, healthy foods to eat or planning my daily activities.
Right now I have 5 items or reports on my desk that I need to finish. I first check the deadlines and focus on one project at a time. With much focus, you will be able to finish it with a satisfactory and quality output. It would also require lesser time for rewrite or revisions. Thus, you save on time.
Time management is only possible if you know your priorities.

When I was younger and had alot going on it did seem like there wasn't enough time in a day. Now my days merge and it doesn't really matter because I am retired and not really doing much. When I am having fun I never want it to stop and everyone go home. When things are going well it seems that way.

I was just thinking this, today. It seems like I don't accomplish much in one day. I've been trying to come in to work earlier, and earlier so I could have a longer day, and hopefully accomplish more. But these days, it's more like firefighting everyday! And when I get home, I'm so mentally tired that I don't get to do the other things anymore.

Yes, I have such a feeling almost everyday. Although I have spared no time to do my job at hand, I still find it difficult to finish them on time.
You see, these days, I am running several home based business online, which need me to spend all my time on promoting my products or services to others as soon as possible. At the same time, I am a memeber of many sites that help me earn money online, such as myLot, Kooday, etc, which also need much efforts.
As a result, I have make the best of my time on everything that I want to do.

Times is precious and Time goes fast and you really wont realize it unless you're just sitting down and do nothing. For me, i have a lot things to do,and i make sure i had accomplished few of them.
i would suggest that in everything you do, try to pray first and everything will fall to its places.

Oh I hear you Stephanie, loud and clear..My son started school this week, but yesterday and today he is getting out 2 hours early due to the heat and humidity..(It is not that hot..) Then I have my housework and taking care of my puppies along with the neighbors dog. Then I also have school starting up Sept 9 and trying to get it together to see if we qualify for transportation, if not then I'll have to change my math class to another 4 credit class before the 27th. Then of course I can't give up my social networks site and have to respond to them as well as doing my own research on a couple things and rereading my story before I jump in and send off the query to an agent..
Wow that tired me out just typing away...
So yeah, I could use another 7 hours in the day to rest and watch this movie I borrowed from the library..

Yes, there are certainly days, when I don't feel that there are enough hours in a day. But at the end of the day, there's not much any of us can do about having 26 hours in a day instead of 24. We just have make due with what we have and try to enjoy it as much as we can.

Of course, i do feel the same thing. but I can't do everything in just one day sitting. the only thing we can do is do one thing at a time. we can never be Leonardo da vinci, Albert Einstein, but we can be ourselves. All we have to do is priorities. And learn new things buy discharging some undesirable habits that we have.

Time is equal to everybody, just that we have to learn how to make the most out of it. There are so many things in life that needs out attention but not everything is top priority. Thus time is for us to decide, plan out what we are going to do. The only way to gain more time is to have better time management.
Setting aside a period of time for certain things before moving on, regardless of we are able to finish or it. Because once we get too stresses out over trying to meet targets, we end up wasting more time.

Don't be "on a rush" to do all those things, dear. I think 24hrs/day IS ENOUGH already. Don't be in a hurry 'cause you could do all those things by managing your time wisely. Always remember, "FIRST THINGS FIRST". If you feel that all those things are important and should be done right now, it's pathetic, I THINK [?] Because you know what, I'm also like that sometimes. I am NOT JUST a student; I'm a daughter, a friend, etc. We have responsibilities in different aspects of life. And for me to cope that "CRAMMING THINGY", I always settle first my PRIORITIES esp. my studies.
So, if I were you, don't be in a hurry. Just calm down. Be relaxed & believe in yourself. Everything will work out fine just as you want it to be. :)
