hello mylotters....
good morning indians....
from few days i have been getting friend requests on mylot.....these people have zero posts and have a lot of friends....firstly i added some of them.....then i got private messages from them that join this site under this link and blah blah...
i just hate it....these people just want some free direct referrals from mylot.....
right now i am having 2 friend requests....they were before 2 days ....they have 200 friends each but zero posts....i kept their req for some investigation but they haven't made a single post in 2 days so i am rejecting the friend requests....
so please be aware of these people......
happy mylotting

I know I am not the only one but I believe all experienced online venture-res always try to check out all sites prior to signing up especially if it comes from someone you have never discussed and or spoken to before.
But thanks for the information as I personally have received a handful like the ones you mentioned and well if I have never spoken or discussed anything with this person and if is eye grabbing I at some point check it out. However to date I have not been given anything worthwhile to sign up to though.

You too? I have 8 of them sitting in my pending friends section because I haven’t approved them and reading your discussion made up my mind to delete them. I suddenly got requests from people with no avatars, zero activity and a heap of friends. They are just spammers and I don’t consider a friend someone who just wants to make money from me!

hi abj163,
Even i receive many requests and most of the time i reject them, but i dont that feel its wrong to use mylot to get direct referrals. But the most important thing is that they must do it in the right way. As u said, making no posts or responses and simply sending PM is troublesome, instead of that they can start a discussion giving the details of the site, stating the pros and cons. If any user is interested, then he will join else he will disregard it. Also by posting he can earn something.

Thanks for the warning. I too find it troublesome for people adding me up and just inviting me to join then via referral. I'm thinking that an active mylotter owns that account and would like to have more referrals but are scared to be reported here in mylot so they use mule accounts.

yeah i have seen them here in mylot too.., posting discussions that are not relevant...and their only desire is to get a few direst referrals from those who would be convinced by them.., but i don't waste my time joining.., i prefer to be directly referred by people whom i knew personally..=)

It is nice to gain some referrals through mylot. I don't send emails to all the friends in my list. I feel if they are in my list they visit my profile now and then and they can see themselves what I have listed there.
I have some do this to me too. I do read it, and research it to see what they are talking about. I usually do not join though. I have plenty of my own that I do on a daily basis.
If I do get any that would do that on a constant basis, I would just delete them from my friends list.
