speak to people who are talking really good english... that way you will be able to learn with them. watch movies using the language for the precise pronounciation. hope this helps. :D

Improving English skills is not as easy as one two three. English is not my native tongue and I learned and studied it all my life. Anyway, motivation is a very important thing. There are various ways to improve like reading English books, watching English movies and dramas, and you can also make use of an Online English teacher.

I believe the functions of motivation.Regarding the online English teachers,I had a try to communicate with a Philippine teacher and the feeling was very well. However, the tuition is a little expensive, besides,I don't have the necessary facility to support me to learn online. That's a pity.

I don't think there is a shortcut to learn any foreign languages. Practice makes perfect. As long as you take some time to practise your English everyday, I am sure you will make a progress. I love China

But I have no chance to practice English with a proper person because the only a few people who can speak English around me are local Chinese.Eventhough we communicate in English,I can not improve the ability of speaking. For me,the most pressing work is listening,so I listen to the radio everyday hoping I can make process everyday.

I agree with you,my dear friend. However,in mylot,I can only practice the writing skills and learn some phrases or expressions,it can nit help me practicing my oral English. In fact, many classmates of mine did not study English grammar very well, but they can speak very fluently.Unquestionable, grammars are important for non-English learners, but speaking a fluent oral English is much more cool.

Hi, There are plenty of way to improve your English : 1. read more english books and newspapers. 2. buy some english books with vcds and learn from there. 3. see some english Tv programme or listen to English NEWS report. 4. Try to use English in your daily conversation. For me, English is not my mother language and although I do studied English from my primary till high school level, but I don't speak English at school. We just studied based on the books and only when I plan to further my study abroad, then I try to catch up on my English. Of course, I do feel nervous to speak in English at first, however, I told myself, never feel shy and try my best. Of course, mistakes is done here and there, and try to learn from my mistakes. During my university level, I was using English for all my subjects and I have the chance to speak more English with my friends. I do watch some English TV programme and slowly, I can write and speak better now. Always standby a good dictionary at your side,in case, you need it for emergency.

English can't be learn quickly, even if you study more than 8 hours a day still it requires a lot of time to be good at it. One needs to practice well in order to enhance his/ her English skills. But one thing is for sure, constant practicing the language and you will be good at it as soon as possible.

Yes,it's a matter of time. For me, a non-English learner, even I spend all my life to learn, to study English,I dare not compare with the native English. But I have basis, and I believe as long as I make effort,I will be paid in return.
