I check mine lots of times. At least 4 times a day.
It is easy for me as I have broadband so am always connected anyway.

Maybe I check email from 5 to 10 times per day! It's a compulsive thing...I often turn on my lcd and check the email.....then i turn it off...then again on and i check again ;)

i don't look to my email account. it tells me every time i have a new email and only then i go and look who sent me that email :)

I am in my email all day long. I never get out of it. that way the email just comes in and I get a little envelope in the systray telling me there is something there
