Mylot feels like work to me....

Maybe like a small part time job, but to me I just come in here mostly to have fun writing responses, I don't think about the cash, and doing it that way makes it much better for earning, because if I sit there and think about how much I am making in a day, or try and make myself reply and post as much as possible, I will get bored to fast and then give up. Where if I enjoy what I am doing then I will never get bored with it.

linda you need to relax and think of it as a paying hobby and you will be surprised at how much more e arnings yu make if you do not think of it as work or a job but as talking with your friends here and sharing ideas and learning from other cultures. think of it as a learning experience to. its just fun for me and keeps me on the net by earning the biggest part of my monthly internet bill.Do you like to write, that helps as I love to write anything anytime anywhere.do not'think ofit as a job but as a place to have fun and enjoy others friendships.

Know you are not crazy, you just love mylot like that. It more seems like a school assignment. Almost like an online class and we have to do a certain amount of writing per day. Lol. But to have this as a part time job, you would have to start disscussion from 8 in the morning till midnight to make a good earning.

Yes. It's a job if you cannot find ways to reuse whatever you've posted here at myLot. This is understandable because myLot is an online publication. But since I'm posting stuff that I can use later in my blog, myLot is like a workspace for me where I keep draft copies of my blog posts. It's a way for me to be productive and at the same time, my blogging activities are being subsidized with whatever I'm earning here. From an SEO point of view, myLot is also essential to bloggers. It can be a source of backlinks and web traffic. So even if myLot won't pay me for posting, I may post here just the same like what I'm doing at Yahoo Answers. So, it all depends on what you get out of your time here at myLot. If you simply get money, then I should say that posting here at myLot is really just a job. However, if you get more benefits, then myLot is something else.

MyLot isn't really my job, but I like writing here, and I like responding to questions, I do have goals I st for myself, but I don't really see it as job.

It is actually work for me since I do not have a job. I am doing ok with it but I really need to find away to get referrals for this so I can earn enough to pay off debts. So no, you are not the only one who feels like this is a job. $-MrDollars-$

nope!i never feel that mylot is like a work for me, its more of a hang out place where i was able to talk to my friends. sometimes i am just here reading and not really posting! i might be addicted here not because of the earnings but because of the fun and the learning experience that i got here and of course because of those good friends that i meet here. just enjoy your stay here and earnings will come smoothly.

No, not really. I don't have to be here, it's just nice to get some money for hanging online and discussing this and that :-) It's more like a nice hobby, something to do at the same time as I'm watching the news or waiting for photos to upload. And you don't really have to tell anyone if you don't show up at mylot for a day or three :-)

Hi! You should take a break if Mylot feels like work to you. I really enjoy Mylot and I don't feel like it's work, for me I feel like it's my way of socializing and gathering information, lol. If I want to share some stories, ask questions and advice Mylot is always there.

Linda, I am thinking otherwise. It seems to me that myLOt is a hobby. It eases our boredom and at the same time we had the chance to talk and socialize with our fellow Mylotters. Isn't it so nice that you would learn so much from them and vice versa. A job for me is something that will pay you enough to survive everday and can provide all your basic needs. But in Mylot, what we earned is just a bonus. But I love myLot, because it seems when I have nobody to talk with, I can easily share what's on my mind here. It really eases my boredom.
