Well, since I am divorced and have been for 10 years but have been living with my ex as if we are still married...it would probably appear that I am against marriage. ha ha But I still have not decided.
Sometimes I think he does not marry me because I am not good enough.
And other times I think he does not marry me because we both believe it will end in failure. But then again...we have been together for 17 years. Wouldn't that say something...divorced or married? ha ha
I think marriage is something that is more than paper. It is a promise to the partner with the Gods as your witness.
I don't know if I will ever want to take that step...but it sure is a nice idea for other people.
I guess I am still a dreamer, huh?

I was always against marriage after my parents violent one and then their divorce. I swore that I would once married NEVER get divorced as I believe it is forever, it's a contract you should not ever be allowed to break. I got married in 1996 & am still happily married today to the same man. My marriage has lasted longer than my parenats relationship before & during marriage. I am not against t, but I hate the people who think 'ok we will try it and if t does not work out then we can always divorce' why bother getting married of you think there is a chance it may fail?
