2012 - Will It Happen?

So this whole ordeal about 2012 being the end of the world was bothering me a little. So, I researched it a little more, and here's what I got..
On December 21, 2012, the Mayan Calendar ends. No one really knows why, but since the Mayans were star-gazers, many people believe that they saw the end of the world happening on this day. Now, i'm christian, and i'm not sure if I am supposed to believe this, but anything that may cause the end of the world is sure to catch the attention of a few people. Perhaps it will be like the incident in 2000, where alot of people believed the world would end because most dates on machines ended at the year 2000. Perhaps the 2012 theory will just cause choas among us? Perhaps this legend will get the best of us and we will be the reason the world ends? If you think about it, back in 2000, there were many, many riots and choas everywhere you went. Now, it may be a re-run of 2000? What do you think? Don't be afraid to leave your thoughts, all suggestions are welcome :)

No. I don't believe it. Tragedies and calamities may happen and yet mankind may survive these like during the ice age. The only thing I can think of that may abruptly end the world is when some cosmic catastrophe happened swallowing or burning the entire planet.

Or perhaps the mayans saw something none of us can see? Perhaps 1 mayan discovered a enormous comet, coming straight towards earth, and they marked it down as december 21? Just a thought :P

I must agree to this, plus last year, where I live, the weather broke over 10 records, which I find extremely weird..coincidence? Perhaps, but there is most likely a connection..

I cannot say yes or no it will happen. I have seen the movie and able to see movies like this. It is possible, but who can really tell if it will happen or not? I think, we can only answer that when it does happen...Hopefully, it will not happen because I still have many goals to achieve.

Haha, I am so with you on this one! I'm still looking around, and if you would like to have something to kind of "steer" you away from being frightened, visit survive2012.com. They have some pretty hardcore stuff.
