I think it is always better than processed. But not all natural foods are healthy. Like animal fats, they are natural but unhealthy!

The answer to that is complex. Healthy food means a well balanced diet so we eat waht we need, no more, no less.If you overeat (or starve), no matter how natural your food it will not be healthy.
Some food needs to be processed in some ways in order to be healthy. That has been knows since ancient times when people salted of smoked food to keep it from spoiling. Nothing happens to corn or a lot other foods when you freeze them if you do it well.
Even jams don´t need chemicals added if well cooked.
So, as you see, "natural" is not always a synonym of "healthy" . Pork has to be processed (cooked, smoked, and so on) for it to be safe. That´s just one example in a thousand.
Happy posting!

I’m really not so sure. One thing is certain that natural food, grown without pesticides is definitely better than processed food. Also, I feel that any food cooked at home from natural ingredients always tastes better than the packaged food…no matter how big the brand is, packaged food is sure to lose some of its nutrient values once its processed for packaging. But we also have precooked preparations which just need to be added to maybe warm water … such precooked preparations are the source of sustenance for many people who trek, or soldiers or babies even…so these have to be healthy.
