Why is the divorce rate high in america??

Every day you see people gettig engaged and saying these people are the love of their life
But in time you will see them hiring divorce lawyers and forensic accountants just to get out of the marriage and outdo the other.
I mean its so disgusting when i see people do this.
Why mary in the first place only to get divorced a yr or 2 later?

Imay only be 17, but I can still see that finding true love is getting harder and harder. Most people are in marriage as some kind of get quick rich scheme when you kill off your supposed "eternal" vows and grab as much money from the other partner as possible. Also people use their children as weapons through a divorice, which I think is very upsetting :/

Those who use their children as a weapon for divorce are not worth being called the parents or even human beings
Those who kill to collect money from spouse should be put out for life.
These people are so disgusting.
Truth is they will end up having a miserable life and even grow old alone and die alone 2.
