In these times, the gaming world have become a competition of graphics and I have experienced that many of them lack the basic essential of a good gameplay and story. There are still some 2D games that I would recommend playing and it goes far way back to the mario(family computer) era. Some 3D games are great at start but becomes boring while in 2D games, since there is not much to ask graphics-wise, the gameplay and the story makes it matter most and the gaming becomes enjoyable because players tend to be hooked to it until the finale.

in gametrailers.com... Street fighter 4 was one of the top worst fighting game.
Geez I agree to them... Because the gameplay was broken (the one called hit and cover) now the Hadouken of ryu can be evaded....

Have you heard Blazblue... It is 2d but the graphics was badass... Blazblue makers are the one who make guilty gear which is considered as the best graphics in 2d fighting game 2d

Battlefield 3.
It's 3D.
2D games are somewhat a past time now.
