Life Influences

Hi catalady, It is my pleasure to say that my mother, who passed away several years ago, was the person who had the greatest influences in my life. This woman, who had only a tenth grade education, was a woman who loved her children with a passion of pride and dignity. As I and my siblings were growing up, I watch my mother work several different jobs to make sure that we never went to bed hungry, we always wore clean clothes,Even then rent was always paid and the lights were never shutoff for none payment. I watched her through the years, denying herself new clothes or new cars because she was determined to save enough to purchase our first home. Her determination paid off. She purcased her first and only home, which is still in the family to this very day. When my mother passed away, we found among her belonging several certificates, one was her GED. Others were certificates from different training programs that she had completed. What impressed me most of all about my mother, was the fact that, when she passed away, there were no dirty dishes or clothes to be washed, in other words, the house was left clean.
