How to tell a close friend that your'e in love with her/him?

how do we know if it will go bad or good, or how do we even know if the friendship will be done with?

there's no harm in trying...if you said it then he gets mean so take it as a joke and play that you are just kidding..HAHA! but if it goes in the other way around, well good for you!

yes,you are right,lostgirl!
if we find things difficult to say,we can always have it in a joke way.this way,we'll know if the person will ride it or what would be their reaction,but still you know what the real question is,and if you hear or notice their reactions,you'll know if you should continue the feeling or just forget about it.
there's no harm in trying!

Hello hotpink! I think nowadays doesn't matter who will say first if he or she feels something different to his/her friend. How we will know the result if we will not try to step on it. In my experienced, as a girl, when I felt that I want more than a friend I stay away from him....hahaha, because I don't know how to say it. Well, I'm kind of conservative. Until he noticed that I'm cold to him, we talked and guess what he do feels the same. To cut the story short, he is now my ex-boyfriend and still my friend, but not too close anymore. ^_^
