A weird problem with Firefox installed in my system !!!

Hi friends, i just noticed a weird problem in Mozilla Firefox installed in my system.
Its been 3-4 days i'm encountering this problem.
So the main problem is that most of the sites didn't load in Firefox.
Whenever i try to open any website, an error occur stating that :
[b]
"Server not found"[/b]
"Firefox can't find the server at __site__xyz__ "
This get on my nerves and i keep the F5 button pressed until it showed up that page.
And after pressing F5 button for around 50-60 times, that page showed up.
This problem appears in Mozilla Firefox 3.6.6. So i updated it to latest 3.6.8 but the problem still continue.
But i wasn't that lucky 
. Now, with 9-10 tabs open simultaneously, it is more prone to get crashed.
So, i tried using Opera 10.61(latest) and IE8, and it loads the pages at one go.
This really confused me a lot why Firefox is acting like this. 
Earlier i thought it might be my ISP problem or the server problem of the site which i'm trying to connect. But after Opera and IE open the site easily, i'm very much confused about this thing. 
So, can anyone help me in this context????
I really dont want to switch to Opera/IE8 .

Hi diamania,, tried this #1 rule too, but no effect even after reinstalling and also ,upgrading to latest version.

What operating system are you using? it seems to work fine on XP and Vista.

I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit.
It worked flawlessly for 3 years in my system. But since last week, i'm getting this kind of Server not found error. While the same site easily opens in Opera.
I'm totally confused.
