Its shopping day tomorrow, hmmm not shopping, grocery day. i was thinking my family could have a different set of recipe/dish for the next week to come, instead of our usual daily dish, i have come to the point since i'll be home for the week, i would not mind cooking for them, whats are your favorite dishes for your family. Thanks a Lot.

I don't have a family to cook for , both of my sons are grown & have families of their own. I cook everyday but it's strictly just what i want. Have been enjoying all the fresh veggies the farmer's market have had all summer.

well spaghetti with meat sauce or meatballs is always a classic. One thing that I have been making a lot recently and we all seem to like is a Mexican baked fish. It takes corns chips, salsa sour cream avocado, cheddar cheese and tilapia. It is easy and delcious and gets rid of things I may have hanging around.

I wonder if other white fleshed fish would work as well?

I'm sure they will like that. If they are like mine they will be very happy with whatever you choose to fix.

Here's one of my family's favorites. Seahawk bread. Slice a crusty baguette in half. Mix cream cheese with dill and spread each half with the cream cheese mixture and shrimp (the small type) and pop into the broiler until the cheese melts. Top it with a layer of chopped red onion; a layer of smoked salmon and finally with a layer of havarti cheese. Pop it back into the broiler for a few minutes until the cheese is bubbly and melted. All you need with this fabulous bread is a side salad and you have a delicious dinner.
