Have you seen Peguins?

I know penguins are found in southern hemispere particularly in Antartica. Sevearal species of Penguins are also found in the temperate zones near Eqator. They are bird but they cannot fly and their wings work as flippers and that spend half of their lives in ocean and half on the earth. They swim underwater and catch fishes. They are social amongst themselves. However, I have never seen them excepting in movies. Have you seen them? If so, what are your experiences? Can you please share with me?

I have seen Antarctic penguins at Sea World and a couple aquariums before. They are really, really cute- how they waddle around with their flippers streched out. There are also some warmer temperature penguins that are native to the galapagos and South Africa that can be seen more commonly at zoos, too.

Penguins - Penguins at the zoo.
Yes, I've seen penguins before. The last time I did was at the zoo a few years ago. It wasn't much of an exhibit though. Only a few penguins, but it was still cool just the same. Even more so since my kids got to see penguins for the very first time, which made it all that more memorable to me. Happy mylotting!

Lots of penguins in Tasmania where I grew up. The come ashore at night and have colonies along the coast. They even named a town Penguin where I once lived because of a colony nearby. They have built viewing platforms so you can watch them on the beach. They had to build a small fence to stop them getting on nearby road way because the young drivers would call it fun to run them down and kill them. Some people.........

You are fortunate. I don't know when I would be able to see them. Probably I would have to go to Australia or New Zealand. Thanks.

I've never seen one in real life not even in zoos, only in documentaries and maybe sometimes in movies. Really want to see one up close someday.

hi udaymohan nope I live in Southern California so the only penguins I have seen are in documentaries. But here on the coast I have seen'up; close and personal seals, and pelicans, and sea lions. I love to watch the pelicans diving for fish. Its a joy to s ee the seals at play and to go out on cruises to see the whales come in occasionally. I do not think we get any penquins here as its too warm for them.

I have only seen them at different zoos. they are pretty playful and I enjoy watching them. I also used to hook up a webcam and watch them live in their natural habitat. I know it's not the same as being there, but it was still live and very enjoyable!

I have seen penguins, but not in the wild, only in sanctuaries and in zoo's. They are funny little creatures, fascinating to watch as they waddle along really. I would love to see them for real in the wild, but I don't think that will ever happen.

I haven't seen them in person, never in my life. I just saw them on television and they are so cute and they look smart. They catch fishes to eat and swim in a cold water and with black and white color of skin so cute.

Hello I saw them when i went to a trip to Orlando, to the Ocean World, they look pretty funny in the way they walk, and swim very fast under the water, when they want to go out the water, the make like a little jump from the water. It was very funny see them and at the same time was impressive because it was the first time saw them.
