I wanna hit it with my sandal but when I see than little black eye, I can not do it. So I let my dog kill thats mouse and he did. My dog don't eat it he just crush that mouse heads and sit waited for his reward.

I understand what you are saying bunny, but wild mice though maybe not dangerous to pets, are for people with destroying homes and some diseases. But a domestic mouse is nothing like that, my nephew raised both domestic rats and mice and I'd never want to see one killed.(In fact my fav was Ben, his large white rat) But if it is a wild one in my house, it is a goner..

I have my allergy too... allergic rhinitis. But one of my friend who happen to be a nurse told me before that to get rid of your allergy is to exposed yourself to allergen that make you sick so sooner or later your immune system that overreacts to those particle will be used to it. Well, it works for me!

No, I can't say I ever experience having my dog kill something. Last week when a bat got into our house, I actually took them out of the room, because of the disease they carry. I guess mice don't really carry disease though, since this is something a cat usually catches..
I did however got my puppies today catching a butterfly. This was outside and I tried to save it, but with 2 dogs, once I caught one,t he other took over an captured the poor thing in her mouth..:(

Hi carmelanirel!.
My dog is Mix kintamani dog, thats native Balinese used to guard their farm field. he is really good in mouse haunting and thanks God he had complete immunization including from leptosephirosis (I don't know how to spell it, its kind of disease thats they find in mouse).
My dog also interested to flying object like bird and butterfly, but thanks God he never had a chance to catch both of them.

Yes, I have had similar experience before. But one thing for sure, after the first time, my dog had cultivated the habit of laying down on the floor of the store-room (that is why the rats were) waiting for the appearing of a rat. Not that I gave her any treats the first time she killed one. But a few praises. Since then, when I saw her making movement in the storeroom or suddenly rushing out of it, I knew she was hot on the tails of a rat.

Well, I'm a little guilty, too.
It happen ten years ago, it was a winter morning when I finally captured that mouse. It had been nibbled all night long for some days.
I used a DIY trap to capture it, but it worked fine.
When I had the poor mouse in my hand I didn't know what to do with it. I decided to let him go free in the schoolyard. But when I did so, Nera started to play with the mouse.
She would have never killed a creature, not even a bug! But she did play a lot with the poor mouse.
It was freezing outside and I remember the mouse's pink feet (pink from the cold!) and how he couldn't run fast enough to escape. I was afraid it could die from the cold and fear, so I took Nera away and let the mouse go away through the snow.

Hi Kangchily!.
I think thats will be OK because my dog had a complete immunization from my vet so he perfectly safe. He is not eating it just kill it, I think after know how cow meat taste he lose appetite for mouse .
I do regularly clean up but the mouse keep coming maybe because my house is store and we had plenty food they can consume.

Ooooh...I would rather not even think of such a thing. It sounds horrible, killing a poor little animal.
I do not know how you would react to my response, but honestly writing, think twice before doing something like this again.
Your dog is an animal with no brain or feelings, but as a human being you should have some feelings not only for human being but also for poor little animals, ask yourself, you did have so many other alternatives to clean the cupboard. Ahhh... that poor little mouse, but you did one good thing by discussing it here, at least, if you read my response, I hope you will think twice before repeating something like this in future..

Hi Dollar3235!.
Its OK, I don't mind with your response. I am little feeling guilty myself. I never consider a rat is something I need to protect especially when they eat my dry food supply in cupboard.
We can not having a rat at home because its really disgusting and they smell really bad. Its really hard task to eliminate mouse from a house if you life in tropical area because they grew really fast. Maybe you will let them got away but in a month they will multiply because they breed really fast.
Thanks.
