Do You Want to Have It Made????

Oh gosh I would hope not as if we have no challenges then what is the point of striving for more. I know I am one that does no plea to God to give it easy to me, I am willing to work as hard as I can just to be able to strive on the basics and well if I accomplish more than it would be a great payoff as my efforts would have been earned.

there's nothing wrong if people want a simple life or wants it easy. Actually, if you have plans more than the expected and failed to attain it it's a great lost. But if you ask for an easy life and attain much of it is a greater success you have. Some people tend to push on something but incapable of doing it's a failure. Some people don't forget to thank and praise God for the graces received.

Hi bird - the adversities that came into my path were there before I was born, so I kind of had little choice but to follow the route. I could have avoided some of them - may be - by acting innocent and deceptive. But I didnt. I didnt have the lofty ideals like - someone else will see and understand. I doubt if I still have it, but then I still hang on so I guess I do want my story to be told and afterwards others who are in similar situation like me taking a clue to where or how they should be going about it. But for that, I have to find the right solution and for that I am completely dependent upon god. Would I prefer a life without adversities? A few years ago, when I didnt know much - I had kind of wound up everything and there I was - nothing to live for!!! I had enough for food, clothing, shelter, and medicine. If I chose to earn it would only be for jewelry and costly clothes and entertaining false friends and relatives. I faced an ennui, which did make me feel life was empty. But would I court problems for others, I doubt it. I think I have had my fill. Now, I want god to solve my problems, help - I like that song - take my hand precious lord - lead me home.

nowadays this thing only happening.. all want to make their life easier.. they all are trying for that only... there is no element of society is coming .. we all are thinking about us only... but i think we have to take our society also in to our consideration... If we are taking our society in to our life , then our life may not be easier.... there will be the problems..... i that is life.... we have to help all with out thinking about us..... i think that is the real way to make our life easy..

in order for us to make the best in our lives is to strive..having an easy life is lack of adventure, it seems boring after all.

...it's only natural that everyone want to have an easy life..but everything in life is not for free..you have to strive, do your best and if you're patient enough, you claim your reward...also, a the fruit of our hardwork is sweeter than anything...

Hi bird, Another good discussion topic. I think we are meant to enjoy life but an easy life is not always the best, in fact I think it would be very boring. As you say few things that are worthwhile come easy. Many people may be seeking an easy life but the universe knows what's best for us. We are here to remember who we are and we can do that best by showing love and compassion for others and yes going through adversity too. Blessings.
