Its not fair at all when more than 70 percent of youth of India is jobless, when after 63 years of independence we are unable to get proper food, employment, houses for living, when we are not getting basic thinks like food, water, when people are dieing by hunger, when farmers are committing sucide by bad loans, when women were killed just for honor. Its shameful act by Indian gvt. They are doing only for theirselves.Congress and all previous govts are still suckning innocent people of india.

any thing happens in our country, power rules every thing in the world. its not there fault, its ours who have given power to them at first by voting them and they are utilizing it in a good manner to crunch us. if they increase, there is no problem to nation, they won't attack the companies for sure. they are the ones who are paying tax, but surely agriculture and other sectors which are operated by govt will be damaged. hope, we come up with a good leader who can bring in a change in the political system, which as now become " earn as much as you can before you go....."

I believe you are not an Indian and as such you have started this discussion. Dont take me otherwise, had you been an Indian, you would have realized that in today's India, there is no Justification needed for getting anything done. The onlythingto have something started or done is - It should suit the interests and benefit the Politicians. Thats all there is to understand the theory. Now no-one among the politicians is interested to think about the later part (the actual content of your discussion). They are safe, enjoying their lives and doing all the things at the cost of the common man. It neither has not it will ever effect them what the stats show - "30% youth are jobless ,40% people cannot effort both ends meet ,during recession millions of people lost jobs and many others salary cut". The I in India stands for I the Politician, never the people or the citizens

I agree. It is not justified. And yes, the statistics you present are really appalling. On what grounds do those MPs even consider they should be taking that salary, considering the fact that they have been utterly ineffective. With government officers getting higher wages, we have already suffered a massive inflation bout. Now, with MP's salary hike, we are sitting on another round. People in private employment continue to slog, and be under hire and fire system. Their children dont get their jobs in case they die. So on what really justifies a government servant's job going to his children? Nothing.
