Have you ever had a time where you were the only one at home for a couple days at a time?
I was house sitting for a friend a couple days ago and experienced it, lol.
After a while, especially at night, you get really paranoid- every little noise makes you wonder if it's danger.

I'm alone all the time in my 3 bedroom house. I used to get jumpy in other houses but this one is homey, friendly, nothing at all to fear. I can even walk around it at night with no lights and feel perfectly safe. That's why I bought it!
But I understand what you're saying. In most houses, no matter how long you live there, you start looking over your shoulder after awhile with nobody being there. There's safety in numbers.
I like being alone, always have.

I like being home alone sometimes. It is nice to have some time alone to work and think about things. I also like to take trips alone when I get the chance to do so. It is nice to go to a hotel somewhere and spend a couple of days working or just relaxing and swimming...

the paranoia is there for the first few hours, and then u'll get used to it and u'll enjoy it..i love being alone once in a while and it allows me to think about myself and pamper myself after series of social conflicts that we might face everyday..

I used to be alone at home too.., for a week I guess.., but I don't take the noises all around as an indication of danger or perhaps a burglar have just broke in.., because the safest place for me is within the premises of my own home.., But if I get to spent it another house with no one else with me.., I will feel otherwise.., and would end up thinking the same things as you did..=)
