Why do International people like "bux" sites so much?

So this is a serious question. Why do International people like bux sites so much? I keep seeing so many scam bux sites popping up and at the same time I see a bunch of people saying, "Just joined this new bux site!" and it's getting kind of ridiculous. Not only are the rates low in a lot of them but a majority of them don't really have any actual advertisers, just a bunch of ptc site referral links they(the owner.) hopes to bank off of. 
What's your thought on this, why do you(if you do) join bux sites? Please don't tell me it's for the money as there are much better sites out there and yes, better sites that are available to international people. 
I am starting to think people just google "bux" and join whatever pops up

When I was new to earning online. I was really doing my best effort to join those bux sites because this is easier. And I bought some referrals and I think that was a good investment since I have easily reached the payout and got back that little investment used to buy referrals. So, I think many people join this because probably they think this is the easiest. Many people who made it good in these types of sites learned how to roll their money and always invest on buying referrals and so they learned a lot.

Yeah it's still quite a big risk though, and I feel most people that invest into those kind of sites don't make their money back and in a lot of cases don't even break even! Ah well, I guess it is an "investment" so there is no guarantee..

Actually, it is because lack of awareness. Most of the people are still not aware that you can earn money online and if they get one place where atleast they can see $0.001 being credited in their (so called) account, they feel happy and start doing whatever comes in their way, later on when this count reaches $0.010, some of them start using their brain and stop using such sites.
I do not get the point in getting $2 in more than one month (Neobux)? Or may be I do not know how that website works (there could be other possibilities).

bux sites easy way to earn, i am not preferring any more new sites, only sites which are older than an year and are paying with out any problem.
once i used to have 50 which as been reduced to 17 and now it is only 5. neobux, matrixmails, wordlinx, clixsense and viewbestads.

I suppose, but what I think would be more interesting to people is to realize how much profit there really is to make online. It's nice to make a few bucks for doing nothing... but what about making a few hundred for doing not much? Much more appealing, no? Annnd. Especially lately all over the world extra money is always niec to have!

is it serioud that bux sites are scam...i was looking for some genuine site for earning only...i have some time and wanted to utilise that time for earning some money...its the only reason that i've joined 3-4 sites and so far so good...and the same reason bouhgt me to mylot...which i find interesting...i would like to take this time to earn..
