Christmas ornaments ideas

Hello I will be starting to make a few Christmas ornaments to sell soon and I work alot in wire work and some sewing. Any good ideas welcome ? I like the angels and crosses the best. I have a few but always looking for more that are simple but yet stands out.

My mother made some lovely ornaments by taking the empty class balls you can buy that are open at the top and see poured different colors of paint inside them, she would pour in one color in a random sort of pattern let it dry and then fill up the rest of the space with a complementary color. She made some for all of my family so we all have them on our trees and she made a few extra for me that I gave away to my friends.

I make ornaments myself. I make salt dough and paint them. I also buy the clear glass ormanents and put mosaic tiles on them. I am going to start them this week and hopefully launch my online store the second week in September. I have always wanted to learn how to use wires and make ornaments using them. Money had been tight this year so I had not been able to do as much as I wanted to. I am also making bath salts and soap.

that sounds great I have not made any of those yet. I will be glad sometime share some of the ideas with you on sewing some ornaments and wire work. I make jewelry and sell to help with needs of family and kids. I know times are hard right now and money is tight everywhere. Good luck on what you do. how about baskets? pouches? santa socks? how about eyeglasses in a shape of a christmas tree? i have another odd idea... since you are in wireworks, how about sewing a smiley ornament with the smile wearing hohoho braces? hahaha! it may be weird but it sure is cool! how about necklaces of green and red? how about musical notes?

thanks I like the smiley ornaments, and musical notes. there are to many of the socks and stocking and things like that but was thinking also of the rocking horse made of beads and wire would be cute also. thanks for information. green and red is Christmas colors but was thinking of some gold and silver also. thanks again.
