Hello posham! I'll suggest a movies that I've seen recently, and I can say TWO THUMBS UP!
1) The Blind Side (Sandra Bullock)heart-warming... it made me cry
2) The Back-up Plan (Jennifer Lopez)comedy-romance
3) How to make love to a woman (Josh Cooners)comedy-romance
4) The Karate Kid (Jaden Smith and Jackie C.)
5) Letters to God (Tanner Maguire) very heart-warming movie... it made me cry too
6) The Bounty Hunter (Gerard Butler and Jennifer Aniston)comedy-romance
You can see the details of these @ www.imdb.com
I hope we have same movie genre.

Thanks, I tried getting copies of the films you suggested and I've seen a few of them. And yep, comedy's my thing too
By the way, I liked Karate Kid as well but it kind of reminded me too much of the old Karate Kid film with Mr. Miyage. Guess they didn't really changed much of it.

I just watched SALT by Angelina Jolie recently. It's really good. You're at the edge of your seat even if the movie has just started...You won't feel bored!

I was amovie addict before, when I have the time to go to the theatres. I used to go to the theatres atleast three times a week then. These days, I could only watch movies on the TV just for a few minutes after I get back home from work. And, I enjoy watching the oldies. One of my favorites is "Giant" with Rock Hudson. Have you watched it ?
