I am just wondering why there are some people who can get a sleep so easy. Wherein they dont need to relax first to find theirselves sleepy. Wherein, the moment they lie down in bed or sit in sofa, they will easily get asleep. Wherein, they will snore in a shortwhile the moment they fell asleep.
Just curious - why there are some people like them - who fell asleep so easy?

Good day to you Adel09,
How lucky you are because you are not snoring. At least you sleep without disturbing anyone.
However, I have known somebody, though she was not that tired, she easily fell asleep. And for some reason, I am trying to analyze it, because it sometimes affects her planned schedule.

hello here, Have a good day, I don't believe that in today's world people can sleep alone and early... This is a matter of thinking that how the people can got to bed so early...
A lover can't sleep so early. Because just he will be thinking about her GF[girl friend] .. He will be doing chating[msg] with her GF.. that's y, one who loves someone can not sleep..
But a man who get tired, he sleep early. Coz he does many work in a day. A man can't free with work. A man has many wants, he is completing something in a day.

Yes same here. I need to be physically tired to be able to get to sleep easily. But there are times that I am used to sleeping in the day rather than at night, and whenever I tried to get my normal sleeping time back, it's hell difficult. So I push myself staying up the whole morning (even if I am up the whole night, too) so that I am able to sleep early the following evening. And again, this is very difficult. If I am very, very sleepy, I feel nauseous. Sounds self-punishment, huh? :-)

It depends.
I tend to fall asleep very easily when I'm in the right mood, I struggle with things on my mind. It's really frustrating when I can't get to sleep, so I generally try to tire myself out so that I can get to sleep easily. Thankfully I find it pretty easy for the moment and I have no trouble once my head hit the pillow.

Most of those people are sleep deprived. They don't get enough sleep so as soon as they relax their bodies they can't help but fall asleep. But I bet they don't sleep very long, they have trouble staying asleep, that's one of the reasons they are sleep deprived.
I have this problem myself. I don't have a problem falling asleep. I can fall asleep sitting up on the couch watching TV but I can't stay asleep for very long. I wake up continuosly so I never get that deep sleep that our bodies need. I have been that way all my 54 years of my life, well, as far back as I can remember.
I go to bed at night by 10pm and asleep by 10:30pm but before midnight I will wake up and be awake for about an hour till I can fall asleep again and then I will wake up again about two hours later because I have to go to the bathroom so bad my stomach hurts. So I get up and go to the bathroom and then back to bed and can usually fall back to sleep right away.
But before my alarm goes off at 7am I will have woken up another couple times, sometimes another 3 times, and then when my alarm goes off I am so tired but have to get up. This can go on for a week for me before I crash and then I will sleep from 5pm to 10am the next morning.
This is called sleep deprived and that is one of the reasons some people can fall asleep so easily.
Cheers,
Chris

Hi airasheila!.
I think if I really tired I can fall a sleep really easy but if not I must follow the schedule my body got around 11.
At thats time I must already in my bed and tuck in my blanket or if it past thats time I will not sleep so easy or end up like night owl, stay awake all night. As the result I feel really tired in the morning.

Hi airasheila, I do have friends who fall asleep so easily. When having hours of riding on an express bus, they fall into sleep after the bus just moving forward for just a few minutes. I envy them could fall asleep that easy when riding on a bus. I could hardly fall asleep when I ride on any public vehicle. Both my late dad and mother in law would fall asleep easily after the tv was switched on for a short while. one of my colleagues even switches on the tv and noise from the tv as a lullaby to make her to sleep on her couch in front of the tv set. She told me she would awake if someone switched off the tv
I would fall asleep as usual within ten minutes or so at bedtime. If I have taken any stimulative drinks like thick coffee, etc a few hours before going to bed, surely this would put me into an insomnia situation that is really depressing. It's sad that I'm the type of person who would be awakened easily if disturbed by any undesired noise like heavy snoring, door bumping noise, etc.
Have a nice day

I can usually go to sleep easily. I work a lot, so I am usually pretty tired when I get home. I can usually sit in my recliner chair and take a nap pretty much any time I want. I usually have a hard time getting out of bed in the mornings, because I usually just want to sit there...

Not I...I have to be really tired in order to go to sleep. I will usually keep myself busy until I do get sleepy. If I know I need to go to bed early I will talk a journal or magazine to bed with me and stay busy reading or writing ( or both ) until I get so sleepy I can't keep my eyes open. However, my husband starts his snoring before his head even hits the pillow..he goes out quicker than the switch of a light.

My husband sleeps as soon as his head hits the pillow and I absolutely envy him for that. As I can't sleep that easily. I use relaxation techniques to get myself to sleep. It's hard sometimes especially if I'm tired and just want to get a good shut-eye.

I really haven't met many people who'd fall asleep easily, and I'm one of those who can't as well. For me sometimes it'd take hours to fall asleep. Usually I'll have all kinds of different thougts running through my head even if I dont plan too. I think that stressed out people who for example have a stressful job and stuff are those who find it hard to fall asleep and those who are a bit more carefree ffind it a bit easier and also those who do not tend to bang their head over every little thing like how it'll be, what it'll be etc. fall asleep a lot easier.

Hi, airshelia. I am one of those people. My husband teases me about how quick I am to fall asleep. I can be sitting there talking to him one moment, then the next thing that I know, I am sound asleep. He tells me that his aunts are quick to go to sleep like that too. I don't know why I fall asleep so fast. I do know that I am tired when I do doze off. I have not been like this before. It just started about two years now.

No I dont! I envy my husband cause it doesnt take him 5 minutes and he falls asleep already. I have to wait at least 30 minutes to 60 minutes then I fall asleep. There are times that I am really tired and I just have to wait at least 25 minutes and I fall asleep already.

That is my sister(lol). She just loves and enjoys sleeping sooooo much. Most of the time she rather choose to sleep than being invited to go out and enjoy. Funny is even her boyfriend she makes excuses not to meet her so she can sleep. Sometimes we are so pissed off with her because I think its too much. She doesn't have any kind of sleep disorder, she is just like that. Though I admit that I hope I'm kinda like her who easily get asleep, but not to sleep more than what is required.
I don't know the reason for it, but I guess they are just lucky to be like that.
