ok l'm going to put my head in the lions mouth here and just say that god doesn't exist. Just because l love a good argument and l know there's a lot of people here who have their way with words.
Do you believe in god? Please finally give me a stable argument for that.
Thank you in advance.

Existence. I exist. I am a miracle. I am unique. I am a masterpiece. I am full of potential. I have so much love. I want to fix all the wrongs in the earth. Not only is the total me a masterpiece but each part of me is pure perfection. Either I have a master designer or exist by a fluke. I am no fluke. Why would a fluke care about anyone? Why would a fluke long to see suffering end? Why should I care? The heart is not just a mechanical pump, which is a success of its own but an emotional powerhouse with amazing nuances. I am not a fluke!
When I go into a store I don't just take things without paying. i am not a thief. I appreciate the store owner for making it convenient to get things that I need. I appreciate that much work has been done so that the store has the items and keeps the items in stock for me and others. I am willing to pay for the privilege of shopping there. And I smile and say thank you as I walk out with me items. I am not a thief.
I am not a free loader on this planet. I am thankful to the wonderful Creator of it all. That He allows me to enjoy life now and for those that show their appreciation that they can actually enjoy eternal life.

There is no staple argument.Either you believe or you do not. I Feel there is a G-d. We are loosley connected. It works for me. But I am not one of those who thinks Everyone Must follow my religion or they are evil or damned. I respect you view of no G-d. And respect mine and let's go on from there.

I believe in god because many did. My parents did, my friends did, many people here did, though there are atheist they are minorities. For me, it is basically a conformity to believe in god. I have other reasons I just can remember them right now.

I don't have faith in Santa. He was never there, and I used to live in Asia, and We didn't have chimneys so it's impossible for him to get in the house. Many people around me don't believe in him. So, I conformed.

Ok, I assumed that you were raised in the western culture but I was wrong. Let's take it this way, your argument was (paraphrased) "because my family and friends believe in God, I conformed". That is not an argument for God's existence, it's simply a motive for your belief and that's not enough to justify either his existence, nor his necessity of existence. But let's say my parents, brothers, my whole family and relatives, friends and teachers would believe that blonde blue-eyed people do not deserve to live, would that make it a right belief just because they believe in it? Also, would that be enough for me to believe the same?

The other day I watched part of a program shown on the "Animal Planet" network regarding the Great Rift Valley in Africa. There are lakes in this Rift Valley that if touched, other than by the lesser flamingos, would kill in a matter of minutes. So, why is it possible for the lesser flamingos to wade around and even eat from these toxic lakes without being killed or even being harmed in any way?
Why is man the only creature living on earth who is able to produce beauty, not reproduce what instinct demands, but produce through imagination?
What caused the planets to be perfectly placed so that they don't collide with each other or fly off into deeper space?
What can explain the eye and how it functions?
The answer to all these questions and thousands of others is GOD.
Does God exist? How could anyone believe otherwise?

You needn't worry about me being disappointed. I am fully convinced, in fact I know without any doubt that God does exist. Nothing you have said has dissuaded me from believing in God. All of creation proves His existence. I'm sorry that you refuse to recognize that truth. Don't you realize that science has done more to prove the existence of God than to disprove it?

Looks to me like you didn't watch the whole show XD they prolly explained at the end XD
What causes planets to be this way is the fact that early on when the universe was still young they were all over the place colliding all the time. Even earth has collided with another planet and we got the moon out of that. anyways my point was that all the planets now either survived that period or were formed in it. So it's just physics not mythical creatures. sorry to disappointed.
Again the eye argument? That argument is know as irreducible complexity. This gross oversimplification ignores creatures like the single-celled Euglena which have evolved antennae for light. Mollusks and Jellyfish varying grades of vision... conciser this: the human eye is more poorly constructed and much less accurate than the eye of an octopus or the great horned owl. the human eye has blind spots in the visual field. And the retina inverted, requiring the brain to "flip" the image to see it right side up. Did god care more about the design of the Horned Owl than his own children? Complexity does not demand a designer.
See al scientifically explained. Sorry to break it to you
Does god exist? NO! How can anyone still believe he does?

If we followed God's word I think the world would be much worse than it is now. There are acts of God in the Bible that would simply make Hitler look like a fuzzy kitten.
I recommend you reading the Bible thoroughly, you will find things there that might make you wonder once again. That is, if you're still open-minded.

I don't think 3oooof explained himself well but I think I know what he's trying to say. for me, a friend at college explained the gospel to me clearly when I was 21 years old and I decided at that moment that I would try and find out if what she said was true, about having a living relationship with God, about Jesus dying on the cross for me, about forgiveness, mercy, grace and how God can change hearts and lives and about God being the answer for the world's needs because actually if everyone obeyed the Bible and lived fully for God there would be no adultery, murder, hunger, stealing etc etc. It's only because the majority of the world doesn't obey what God had written down by believers and made into a kind of instruction book for us to live by-that the world is in the mess it's in. it took me 2 years of genuine open minded searching before I finally and completely accepted Christ into my heart and made him Lord over my life and when I did my life changed and I've never looked back.

If God is absurd how can one believe in Him?
If you can put away your scepticism, I'll tell you what God's like logically.
No compulsion to agree with me, anyway.
Thanks.

Maybe if it's a mere acceptance, no contemplation and one prefers to be bigot in religion.
Logic should talk, therefore.

You have to ponder the question of our existence, how we got here and why we're here.
We didn't just come into being, somehow we were created.
People who don't believe are ones who are destined to wander for eternity because they wont cross over to the other side.
God doesn't answer all prayers, but I do believe He exists. Most of the time, things work out right, but not all the time.
Anyways, I am a believer, I grew up in a Christian home, and will share my beliefs with my children in the future.

One of the clearest signs as I told you, you keep saying His name when breathing in and out: Allah!
The more you deny it, the more you present Him in sigh.
What makes man feel relief? Man keeps "saying" God's name.
He is in your breath, meaning He exists!

Ivan if you are going to put your head and lion's mouth and wait to hear my arguments, most probably the lion will chew your head off even before I begin to speak. To be able to know anything about God, one needs to have his head on his shoulders first, and not in lion's mouth.
God exists is a faith, and to prove ones faith one need not argue because to believe in someone's faith you need conviction and not arguments.

i dont know if u would understand what i would say but
compare your body as an empty car
when we enter a car,we stopped seeing it as we saw it earlier, the outside,to see with the carĀ“s perspective. Now comparing the car with u:u see things like u were inside your body, and that happens because u have a soul, that is your spiritual form, that will go somewhere later. And if spirits exist,of course God exists because He created everything and every beauty of the universe, everything has its own purpose

I believe that the "god" that people believe does not exist. I mean the christian, islam, jewish, hindu, and whatever else... they do not exist, really. It's like the unicorns, fairies, flying spaghetti monsters... they do not exist! But I think that there is a possibility of a god existing. But he or she or it will definitely not have those ten commandments and other mundane and ridiculous human-created garbage. I am agnostic, which means that I do not know for sure. Some people say that it's atheism without balls. But I really am not sure, no one is. That's why it's stupid when believers are so sure that their man-made god exists.
