Chelsea on rampant form

For the second consecutive games, Chelsea hit six past their hapless opponents, Wigan being the latest. With a due respect, WBA and Wigan are the lightweight of the league and it is not surprise that they get such a beating from Chelsea. Nonetheless, Chelsea is starting the season on fire and this spells bad news for the rest of the clubs fighting for the title.

Chelsea look in imperious form this season. They simply seem to be moving on from the last season ending. And what seems to be even more fantastic is the fact that goals seem to be coming from all over the park. Only one question that strikes me at this moment have they peaked too early in the season. Also, it would be interesting to see them against one of the top ten teams as till now they have had two teams in the bottom half of the table. Cheers! Ram

Agreed that there is this danger of Chelsea peaking too early. But having seen them play, they look rather consistent. Definitely, seeing them play against one of the top teams would be a gauge of their standard.

Yes, but I would rather wait for them to take on a team from the top half last season before I can pass a comment on them. Cheers! Ram

they started the season well indeed, 14 goals in 3 games is excellent form. Can't wait to see Chelsea playing against Manchester City, Arsenal, and other big 4 teams. Looks like a great season in prospect
