Have any of you tried doing surveys? If so have you made any money? What are some
good survey sites? I have done some surveys but I have never came across any that paid good money. The highest cash reward I earned was $5.00 for one survey. This would be OK if all surveys paid this much. Most only pay a dollar or two, or with
points that you can cash in after you accumlate a few miilion. Are there any surveys that really pay $10,15,20 or more?

I've tried doing surveys and yes I've made money. If I average it out, it's about £20 a month.
Good survey sites (for me) are PineconeResearch.com, Crowdology.co.uk and uk.Mysurvey.com.
The ones that work out for you depend on where you live and your profile.
I don't know of many survey sites that pay that much per survey ($10, $15, $20). They might be out there, but I don't know. The closest I've come to earning that much was uk.Mysurvey.com but that was an online study that lasted a week.
SurveyPolice.com might be a good place to start as they have survey reviews and feedback from people who've actually tried them.
Focus groups (face-to-face surveys) tend to pay much more, but in my experience, they've been rare.
Good luck.

I earn a little bit from online sites. I will not get rich from it but is a good use of my time. I make $400-$500 extra a year. I think this is pretty good - I use it to buy stuff That I want or need and wouldn't be able to get otherwise.
I think of my Paypal earnings as a savings or a coupon to use when I buy something.
I also save alot by using my BigCrumbs site before I make my purchases. I often get great deals on my shopping but then I also will get paid cash back for my purchases and it goes right back into my paypal account so that I can buy some more. :-)

That is great but 2 of the sites I use have steadily increased in their payment to me over the last 2 years. I can continue to increase that and if I apply myself i could be making hundreds of dollars more a month from just these 2 sites.. Both are free - so this is at no cost to me.

Nope I'm really not yet convinced in my online earnings. So far MyLot is the only means I earn online. I haven't got clients for web programming for quite a while. But its really fun here so even though the pay is not that high its still worth it.

This is just pathetic.. for me, I signed up with myLot because of the topics and plus no moderators.... most forums have stupid moderators that suddenly suspends you for posting something that they think violated the rules.. cmon, .01 per post what can you expect.. the earnings are just consolation for the things i get to learn here.. the topics are very interesting.. You should think that way..

well, I believed that you can really earn online. But for me it is not really as easy as we think it might be. It takes some patience and skills and time investment in our part. Just think of it that one day when your credibility and skills is well harnessed so is your income too. I believed that there is no shortcut in life. Just enjoy the little things we start and one day you'll be amazed for what you come so far.
Stay tune.

Very well said, artnoble123! I think patience and hard work is the key to succeeding in this field as well! I have been told this by a lot of people who have managed to do it, and I also noticed it myself. So earning online is really not for people who give up easily, I think...

I do a series of sites every day, 7/52, and earn about $80 a month from them in total. OK, it takes a few hours of my time to do it but sitting typing into a pc I don't call work. It is a way to earn a bit while I take time out and sit down.

I think most of these sites with the exception of myLot. Try to take advantage of people from third world countries looking for work. There are so many qualified individuals or as some of these people say "mind less monkeys." They think every person from a third world country has their price.
In a way it is both good and bad. People get jobs, and companies get cheap labour. Though I think that some sites exploit people. There is site called oDesk where you find a job and work. They only hire the lowest offering people so for jobs such as data entry and the like only the lower hourly rate candidates will be chosen. These rates are sometimes less than .50cents an hour.
Whether these sites are alright? Well it depends on several things. How much you are willing to invest time wise. And how much you can do.
I think you also need to find a good site as well.
With myLot i think if you worked hard enough, you could possibly earn a couple of bucks a day. Just talking about referrals and posting.
Thanks for a good topic :)

Yes, definitely, I am convinced because I have been doing this since March and I have been making enough to more than enough to pay my bills! I have always been optimistic about earning online and I can say that I have been doing it well because I have actually seen the money on my paypal, transferred it to my bank, had withdrawn it, and spent it. How else would I not be convinced?

Hey Tina,
It's important to understand that you need to invest time wisely. If something is making money for you now go ahead and make that your focus. However, don't forget your other sites where you are earning from. I've been adding stuff to my sites. They don't necessarily like my writing that well. But it's getting viewed. I've been getting better. i think some of my issues is where for example ehow got overtaken by demand studios. There for I have to apply to demand to write and when I done that they weren't happy with my writing. Well, I let that go, even tho I'm getting residual income from it. I started working on MyLot more and keep getting payout from them about every two months. Sometimes every three months. I know it doesn't sound like a lot but I have a goal to reach once I get my amounts. I have something on my background where I just have to go to a city about two hours from here and pay it off and it's no longer on my background. anyways, I'm only about 20-30 dollars from it. The reason I haven't went before is because I've had other problems like my little girl going back to school and her 5th birthday party in two weeks. But don't doubt that they are working. Work on what is working for you right now but don't forget your other sites so then it doesn't take as long for you to get your payout.

i am not convinced about it but is trying since i have the time and i need some money. but not investing as i do not know if it is real on not. and it take lots of time to slowly work your way thru legitimate site. only thing you can do is collecting refback from people and not expecting to receive other then that. which is what i am doing now.

I'm convinced. I've earned enough online to be convinced. However, though I appreciate what I've earned, I'm not satisfied. I'd like to earn much more especially as there are so many possibilities online. I don't think I'm making the most of my time, abilities, imagination and the opportunities out there.

I am still an ignorant when it comes to online earning and don't know the ins and outs of this system. However, I am earning and whatever amount is that, I couldn't help being grateful. Of course, I am also wishing that somehow someday, it will yearn an amount that will sustain all our needs.
But, in order to get to that, you need to do a lot of hardworks and know the techniques. Sometimes, you also need to fail in order for you to learn. And failing is the hardest part. But, just the same continue searching for a way. Just believe in this: SEEK AND YOU SHALL FIND.:)
