History Of the Band - Linkin Park ! ! !

I am a great fan of the Linkin Park Band and Numb and Crawling is most favourites of mine. I am listening to them shince last 3 years or so...
But still I dont know anything about the Band's Origin, Where these guys are from and what are their names. I also heard that there was some dispute kind of a thing between some of those was that true or was rumour, etc....
CAN SOMEBODY HELP !!!

The band formed in 1996.
Former Member Mark Wakefield was vocals from 1996-1998 but he left the band.
After that, in 1999 Chester Bennington became lead vocal.
Rob Bourdon is the drummer and he has been in the band since it formed.
Brad Delson is the lead guitarist and has also been in the band since it formed.
David "Phoenix" Farrell was in the band when it formed and played bass. He left the band in 1998... and then came back in 1999. He then left the band sometime in 1999, and came back in 2001 and has been with the band since then.
Joseph "Mr." Hahn does the turntables and programming for the band since 1996.
Mike Shinoda does vocals, rhythm guitar, and the keyboard.

Hey buddy, I am really thankful to you for the information you provided. Also the link was very useful as the page had information about the band members, the idea of wikipedia enabled me to explore more information about the band.

Well even am hard fan of Linkin Park, though i dont know much history of these band! I simply enjoy the music.
