Travel alone or with travel agency,which do you prefer?

I am an independent traveler and so I enjoy traveling on my own. I am able to visit the places that I want to and stay in accommodation that is suitable for me. I like to meet the local people as well as talk to other travelers. When I was a young person I traveled alone. Now I have two young children I travel with them. This summer we flew to Vancouver and explored that area of Canada.

if you want some free time i think you have to travel alone and it is more cheaper than hiring a travel agency although with travel agency everything is at hand now sweat...but if you want more adventure travel alone!

I also like the freedom travelling alone offers you, so I prefer that as well. Most travel agencies don't offer the kind of trips I like anyway. I also like exploring and doing whatever I feel like each day, and not planning too much, which is hard if you are doing your trip with a travel agency.
