What do you think about Gates and Buffett's "The Giving Pledge"?

To begin with,I would like to salute for Gates and Buffertt and "The Giving Pledge" to call on all rich people in the world to contribute their half fortune to the "Charity Union".
As we konw there are millions of poor people in the world and they are sufferring food shortage,water pollution,war threaten etc.Only all human beings work together could this matter be solved.
My concern is how to set up a effective systerm to make full use of the fund and make more people benifite from this great idea.And I also think that self help is very important after all money is money and happiness is mastered by ourself.

well that is good thing this big giants are doing. I really don't read about the " the giving pledge this two billionaires had made but I do know that they have charitable foundation as most millionaires and billionaires have. Anyway, I personally admire the shift of character in bill gates for before I rarely know Him in actively promoting for in charitable institutions. I guess, gates has getting tired of the riches he has. Anyways, their actions are commendable.
