Well let me tell you, I have had a pretty crazy day, and my boss just told me he isn't coming up here tomorrow, so I may actually get some work done after all, and.... Just kidding. I don't know that it's really "these days", or if that's just the way people have always been...

I think people talk more these days. There no more point in trying to make person understand you cause they also would not understand. Some people just say things they want to say but they really dont mean it.

hi elmiko people have always talked a lot more than they listen, its 'the nature of so many of us, and those listenting are not really listening as they are thinking of what they themselves are going to say., we ha ve become a nation of talkers and seldom are listeners and thats a crying' shame. we could all learn a lot more if we kept our mouths shut and our ears open instead of the other way around.

yeah that's true that so many could learn more by listening a little more at the least.

Life could be so much more pleasant and rewarding if people listened more. that is the way you truly understand someone. if all you do is talk instead of listen, then you don't gain as much as you can from life. People just love to talk. They should reallty take the time to listen more, but i think the talkers are outweighing the listeners most of the time.

Yes, I totally agree with with you say, which is people nowadays talk more than then they listen. I am sad to admit that I myself fall into this category as well. As much as I always tell myself to listen more, open up my ears to listen to others, many a time I fail. We have two ears and one mouth which means that we should listen more than we talk, however, most of us are doing the exact opposite. It would be a much better place if all of us were to open up ourselves and to listen to others comments. Also, we would definitely be able to learn more, gain more knowledge by listening. Opening our heart and listening

that's a very good point that we have 2 ears and 1 mouth so maybe that was Gods way of telling us to listen more. i'm not saying that's true but its just a thought.

I agree. People nowadays talk more and air their own opinions. But most of their talk are just nonsense and without significance. Their mouth were full of foolishness and malice and complains that they can't see their own mistakes anymore.

Good observation. That's what I found out with my co-workers too. Sometimes it's nice to take a step back and see what's going on in front.

That's what I usually seen in most cases, people nowadays really talk more and could not even listen to single minute. They are much more expressive with their words and would not even give a chance to let the other person talk. I admit that I am guilty to that. Because in cases that I am in the grocery or public transportation or even in the school and work I always wanted to be heard.

Yup same here and while we are on the topic i think that listening to others and agreeing with whatever they have said to us just now i think makes a good relationship between them. It's a fact and nowadays i am doing that only so secrets have been poring in from all sides and you would be amazed to see the kind of secrets that poured in especially from people who seem normal. They have extremely vital secrets which they withhold and they wish to share with each and everyone but they don't know whom to trust. Cheers!
