Now i just visited website for health. They offered some products and as advertising i saw the little face of a sad girl and near to the face was written that if you buy some of their products, they will donate money to a lot of hungry kids all over the world.
It was the same in facebook, when the disaster was fact is Haiti, in every game, if you buy their online dollars (virtual and can be used only for the games), which will help you to play, they will donate people from Haiti.
Here in Bulgaria begging is kind of business for people, who beg. They lease babies, so they can beg with this babies on the street. We had TV show, where they said that it's really expensive if you want to lease baby, something like 2000$ for a month. And the gipsies who are doing it, can walk with the baby and ask for money...
I'll never be positive for that kind of advertising. What a world? How can you use the pain of someone, to earn money? If that big companies, who are donating, just donate and share they with their customers and potential clients, more people would buy from them and i'm sure more people would respect their work at all.
I'll never stimulate and support that kind of companies. If that is our way to win really big money, i'm sad for all of us.

Emotions and money run the world and the thing is both are related to each other. If you're afraid ( emotion: fear) and there is a solution that costs money 9 out of 10 times you'd buy it.
Same goes for compassion, you're compassionate, you start realizing you can help people ( in first instance) and then you give money and probably somewhere later on you're aware that what you're doing is making the problem worse.
Here in the Netherlands I have seen, what I believe were Romanians play music in the trains and in metros and they got quite a lot of money and hell yep they were using children to play music. In Berlin, Germany however I saw little kids and women with babies in fairly good-looking prams asking us over and over whether we'd like to give them some money. One guy that was with me told them to bugger off but even that didn't help.

Hmmm, I agree with you!
Scams are made by confronting innocent kids, which is absolutely wrong!
In India too, you can see hired women with children, asking for money to everyone passing by, and they say there are no people for work. Why don't such people work when they have a good god gifted physique.
Even, the time of those children is being wasted, because at that age they were to recieve love, they were to learn and play.
We say we are cruel to animals. But I think we are cruel to humans too, when we see such things.

We are cruel with everyone and everything what we don't like or doesn't interest us. Respect is missing everywhere, even if you ask those people - do you respect yourself, i'm not sure that the person will think before he answer "yes i do", because that's the right answer, not because he feels that's specially about himself.

That's really a good point because self respect comes only when one acts rightly and morally. People behaving badly or inappropriately (for example scamming people), can never have self respect. Such people ruin the world.
Something must be done to stop this and improve the situations, in order to live in a better world.
Lets heal the world and make it a better place for you and for me!

Hi, Suggar. That is a shame. That is how they do. They will use little kids that look so pitiful just so that they can get some money for their company. They are not going to use the money for their company, they are going to spend it on whatever they may need. It is a shame that people beg others for money just to satisfy their own pockets. It is so many companies that will beg for money and they are not even using the money for what they claim that it is intended to be used upon.

This thing also happens in our area but with the help of media and tv station the syndicate using babies for begging money were traced and now were in jail too.
Some people were too mean to use babies for this kind of blackmailing.
I am happy that our media and tv stations were very vigilant with operations like this and they take actions very fast.
I hope your government will do something about this.

Our government is using the TV to show every little step ahead like something rally BIG and IMPORTANT, but never care about some of the things.
But one of our news tried an experiment. One reported, who will all know very well, how she is looking and is her name, dressed like gipsy. And was on the leading roads in our capital to beg. It was really useful experiment, because all people saw, that only for one hour begging, they win the same money, as normal people here win for a day hard work. She was stopping cars on the road, when they waited traffic lights, she was knocking their windows and asked for 5 bulgarian coins. The police mans was behind her, trying to tell her to go somewhere else.
Our gipsies are really insolent. They have beg teams, which beg only on same territory, every day. And if someone else go there, they are making scandals, also they fight, if that's needed, just to chase someone our of the street, to beg somewhere else.

That is really pathetic and sad. That's why when I help someone, it's giving someone food that I see is in need of something to eat. Or, helping someone with kind words. I will never be bribed for these people. It's terrible and I don't know how they sleep at night!

I just looked serious at that. Never thought about it. And it's really pathetic.
Last time i'm thinking a lot about where is this world going ... And this is one good reason to think that the world is going to the garbage.
Also i start to believe in the movie 2012. I have to watch it again. 90% of the things go wrong. 90% of the people goes wrong. What else can happen?

Here is how I see charity, I am always eager to give if I can to my own community. It is so difficult to determine these days that people need and or just trying to scam people.
So best bet is to always do a great deal of researching before falling for a scam. The unfortunate thing is that perhaps a charity is legitimate but we just do not know how to trust it, therefore we are unable to assist.
It is unfortunate but sometimes we just have to follow our gut and hope that we have done the right decision.

The way i was helping before, was with giving food, as example. But for now, i can't go to Africa to give food to the people. But also i don't want to buy products, which i won't need, because they will buy food with few percentage of my purchase. Because i can't be sure how many percentage of my purchase will go where it's written they will donate. I need facts. The worst for me is that they just use our compassion to SELL. That's really unsightly fact for me.

That is perhaps one of the oldest marketing ploys in the book. It is awful. It exploits children more or less to put money in their pocket. Not to mention they take the most pathetic looking children, the one that tugs on the heart strings of most people, but in reality, all it is doing, is tugging on the wallets of people, to get them to open it.
Is any of this money actually being donated to these children in need? Perhaps, but I think a lot of it could be just a ploy to get us to donate. There are a lot of deceitful people out there. Still, using children in an attempt to gain money is nothing new. I think it is rather low, and it makes most people give money, because we feel bad otherwise. It is horrible though that the faces of real children are exploited in such a manner.
