Are you a crafty person?

Does sewing come natural to you? Do you like to needle point? I can't do a craft for anything in this world. I would love to try scrapbooking. I have tons of pictures I can use for this. I was wondering how people can sew clothing and blankets. I could not do this at all. I like the hand made necklaces that I bought a while back as well......Have a great day!

Not many people that know me knows that I love to do craft but it is so hard to do very much when I do not have the money to buy things to make with.
I have always wanted to learn how to make bracelets and necklaces and random things yo sell and hopefully make some extra cash.

I think my main problem is I don't have the patience to sit and do crafts. I can knit, although I just know how to knit I don't know how to make more than a scarf. I can sew minor holes in clothing and I can sew on buttons. My mom taught me how to do that when I was really young. She used to do needle point when I was a kid. However, I did not really enjoy sewing class in high school, and I did not do well at it. I think it would be neat to make my own clothes, but I just don't have the patience.

I don't consider myself a crafty person at all, but I do crochet and make baby blankets, afghans, scarves and dishcloths. Beyond that, I'm pretty clueless.
I do have some scrapbooking supplies and do ok with that, but I haven't taken anything out to mess with in a couple of years. I should get back into that. I've also tried a few beaded bracelets and necklaces, but that can be expensive unless you have a cheap resource for supplies (like re-using old jewelry or finding beaded items at a thrift store or yard sale).

i used to be crafty before when i was still in school. i still am but unlike before, i so love being in a craft section and buy whatever there is to find (even if i really have no use for it). maybe because i don't have much time now that i only have limited time to go somewhere and look for some good stuff.

Luckily I am a crafty person and sometimes it gets me in trouble. I'm just into everything. My favorites are crochet and beaded jewelery. But I also enjoy sewing, polymer clay, plastic canvas, and punch point. My craft room was over flowing and I had to do some downsizing. I chose crochet and beading. I've started a interlac crochet bedspread for a queen size bed. It is almost finished and looks stunning. After the crochet is done I'm going to add batting and a backing so it will be like a quilt. Scrapbooking is one I haven't tried, but it is very popular and has all types of neat supplies. I'm sure you will do well with it. You can also try buying a kids craft kit in the hobby you want to try. They are usually simple and you can try it out and go from there. That way if you don't like it you haven't spent alot of money. I have found I have the msot success if I follow instructions or a pattern. Winging it usually doesn't work out to well for me.

I don't consider myself a crafty person. I hate to sew but love to work on plastic canvas projects. Using a larger needle and yarn is what I like to do best. I've made several projects and sold them at craft fairs. Am limited to only one kind of craft that interests me and never have the nerve to venture outside my chosen craft. Have made all kinds of projects but my favorites are Sesame Street characters. Have given the finished projects to our grandkids and they love them. The Elmo bank went over real well. If you go to e-how.com and search for crafts, you might find something that is interesting and easy to do. I also knit but can only do something simple such as an afghan.

I guess you would call me a crafty person. It doesn't come naturally to me or anything but I do crochet, cross stitch and I am taking sewing lessons right now. I have had to take classes for most of the crafts I do, but I really enjoy doing them and make a lot of the gifts that I give to others for birthdays and Christmas. My mother is naturally crafty, she seems to be able to pick up whatever craft brilliantly the first time she does it. She sews, does pottery, crochets, does flower arrangements and makes tons of other things. I wish I had half her talent for arts and crafts.

I am a crafty person....but you have to remember that you have to teach yourself...I paint...sew....stamp...scrapbook......and just about any other craft you can imagine. If they interest me I find out how to do them! YOu might have a hidden talent someplace....just look inside yourself a little deeper! Scrapbooking by the way...is not only fun and creative...I find I look at my pictures way more then when they were stuffed in a drawers.

HI, I like to embroider, do fabric painting and only recently started making stuffed animals.
I found some really cute patterns for animals such as frogs, mice and Moose.
I was wondering if anyone else does this and if they can sell this kind of thing?

I have always been a rather crafty person. i have done everything from needle work to crocheting, to beading to scrapbooking. There are just so many ways to express your own personality through doing crafts. Everyone should at least try their hand at one craft. It can make you feel good about yourself.

I am to honest and care to much about others to be that kind of crafty. If you mean like in arts and crafts then yes I an very crafty. I do a lot of knitting and crochet and often make up my own designs. I also like to pain, make jewelery and do a lot of cross stitch and needlepoint. When I was young, I would do miniatures, as in miniature furniture. And I like to paint wood cut outs, make wreaths and Christmas decorations and things.

I love to do crafts but unfortunately I'm more of an idea person than an executor, I'll have ideas from wood work, & painting projects to jewelery but it never comes out like I imagine, although earrings I've made for specific tops have been good for me. Scrapbooks are great because you can always start with a pre-cut kits, you get everything you need, they come in all price ranges and you can lay it out by the directions or your own way and just cut & paste your pictures then you can graduate from there. Keep it simple and have fun with the process.

hi linda4ualways love that user name.lol I am about as uncrafty as a person can get. but scrapbooking sounds like something I might be able to do. I love to write and I am fairly gifted at it too, Maybe in scrapbooking I could add my writing and have two hobbies in one.
i have seen some wonderful looking scrapbooks so maybe we both
can try our hands and be creative too.
