Those con artist can do anything, not only at the ATM machine that they can steal your debit card ID and password, and replicate a new card to steal all your money. Now, according to one article, they are spreading to the gas station, where people also widely use their debit card to pay for their gas at the pump. Watching the skimmer device at the gas station. Well, there is no way you can detect it. They might have the skimmer device installed inside the pump, and once you insert your card in, they can make copy of the metal strip on the back of your card, and when you enter your pin number, they can get it instantly. One true advice, try to pay with your credit card or cash. At least you can dispute with your credit card, and cash definitely no problem of.

Hey, I won't come up something so mastermind plan all right. It is a fact in real life, it actually happen in a California gas station. So, it might happen somewhere else too. One gas station staff come to do the daily maintenance at the gas pump, he found this skimmer device inside the pump, and he immediately notified his manager on duty.

This is getting crazy! These people need to stop stealing already. I know it will never happen but geez, enough is enough already. Thank God we use cash all the time. This is why we don't use any cards, it's dangerous!!

That is the danger of convenience. We have to trade in the convenience with risk. So, it is up to people what they decide to do. Besides, this report is found in one California gas station, and watch out though.

I think this is very useful advise. The thieves of our times have gone high-tech so any careless with personal data can be dangerous.
