Why are little girls wearing high heeled shoes?

These two girls look about 5 and 6 outside my widow. They have on two retty dresses and one is wearing tall black high heeled boots while the other is wearing whilet high heels shoes. This is really not pretty to me. Maybe I am wrong but,it does not look good to me. They are trying to climb this fence to the park.. Good luck with those shoes on.....Have a great day!

I agree. I do not like it when parents, ( mainly mothers ) do this to their daughters. I especially hate those TV shows of little girls being dressed up and have full on make up for those stupid contests. Makes me sick!

The world is getting weirder and weirder. I also heard about girl as young as 10 wanting to wear tops showing their belly button. ( if you know the name of those things please tell me, the more I expand my vocabular the better) And then their parents are wondering what made it that they were raped...

Heels are not a good idea for children. This is beacuse their feet is growing and many of their bones are fused until late teenage years. It is a fashion and many parents think why their children can't wear heels. So may that is why your neighbor's kids were wearing it.

That's really crazy. Nowadays you see many young girls
wearing things they shouldn't be wearing. These short mini
skirts, belly shirts, heels, makeup and they're nit even finished
with junior high yet. These young ladies these days
are maturing to quickly and in the wrong way with the wrong
home training.

I will let my daughter wear shoes with very small heels from time to time, but that is only because she is a little bit older than the two girls that you are referring to and because of the fact that she only wears them when we are going out somewhere fancy or to church. I don't let her go outside and play in heeled shoes because I think that is an invitation to getting hurt. I always wonder where parents are when things like this go on with children.

I feel like, do the parents monitor at all what they are wearing? I know with me, my parents would look at us before we walked out the door anywhere to see what we were wearing, and make sure we looked appropriate. I will do the same when my kids are older. I think this is telling the kids the wrong message and they are growing up way to fast these days!!
I didn't wear high heeled shoes at all until I was 17!!! My daughter's will not be wearing them any time sooner than that either.
