OLD Operating System?

Some disadvantages of old OS which i remember are: 1.No support for NTFS file system.So you cant store a single for more than 4GB. 2.No support for Multi-processors. 3.No USB support. 4.No multi-tasking.Running 4-5 apps simultaneously will give an error or the system will stop responding. Well there are few more but currently i remember this much only. Happy mylotting.

i think xp is too old already too but still lots of people are still using cause it is not hard to learn how to use. that is the main disadvantage of xp as it is more user friendly. i guess the newer ones has more advantages but may be more complicated to learn on how to use though.

I used those old systems and Microsoft trained us to expect regular crashes. It was normal. I still have a machine with Windows 95. It works but I never use it. XP was entirely different from Windows 98. It was stable and reliable and performed much better. I was sold on it, used it for years, and saw no need to upgrade to a new OS--until I got my wife a machine with Windows 7. I had to configure it for her and found out Windows 7 is excellent. I now have Windows 7 on my computer and I like it a lot. It has some quirks but overall, it is outstanding.

xp and win 7 are really best but right now xp is top in all because its totally updated. still win 7 in progress ,but windows are better then vista. i used windows 95 in my 486 computer it was just fine it take much time to start and when you open folder it open in new windows not like xp(same window) same problem with windows 98 i used it in P1. but 98 is very good in internet but not good in file sharing and 98 themes were really good xp as well but themes of 98 are with windows. but both 98 and 95 were color less as compare to windows xp..
