It was during my school days when I had my first introduction to internet, it was through books, later when I was in college I had chance to know the internet better. I did a diploma in computer course. After few years I got the basics of internet, few more years I took connection and now I am using it and enjoying using internet. How about you please....

My first into to the internet was probably back in 1996 or 1997. I had such a slow connection that all I could do was go to chatrooms (ICQ). Couldn't go to websites. My goodness, how things have changed. Is ICQ still around?

In 1997 my uncle showed me his computer and how the Internet worked, and in 1998 I got a new computer with net access.

My son, who studied computer course in school, taught me how to do the internet. It was quite difficult at first because I was not a computer literate, so, I had to take pains in understanding terms until I made it! Now, am surfing and learn many things through internet!

Would you believe that my first introduction to the internet was way back in 1995. We attended a symposium conducted by the Computer Science department of my college then. That time, the internet was all texts no videos whatsoever but the speaker was right it will revolutionize our way of living.

I would have to say during my last year of middle school. Back then the internet wasn't as wildly known as it is today. Not very many people had it, and the amount of web pages out there was a fraction of what it is now. Of course like you I studied it before getting a taste of the real thing, but my knowledge expanded over my high school years when I got internet in my own home. Ever since then I've been online pretty much everyday doing various things. While searching has expanded, and there are far more resources out there, I don't spend all that much time online. I only continuslly visit a handful of websites, and rarely go beyond that. I have enough to keep me busy as it stands right now.

I wished the providers could have provided it free.

I was first introduced to the internet in the mid 1990's during high school. I enjoyed it very much. I use the internet daily now and multiple times. I fell in love with it from the start.

I was introduced to the internet in school. My family couldn't afford a computer but I went to a school that was well funded. I was able to learn a bit about them there. I didn't worry with my own computer until my twenties. I am certified in electronics and really love the freedon a computer can give.
