What Do You Generally Do On Sunday's?

We always go to church, but the rest of my Sunday I pretty much do what I want. A lot of that is just relaxing in front of the tv and the computer.
I do a lot of things on the computer trying to earn money, but on Sunday's I like to just have fun playing games like at pogo, iwon, club bing etc.
Since it's summer, a lot of Sunday afternoons we spent time in the swimming pool. Today I brought 3 of my grandchildren over and let tem swim too before they start school tomorrow. I don't normally do that. Normally I only want them here if their parents are also here to watch them in the pool.
We are getting ready to bbq...which is also a Sunday regular thing to do.

Hi marsha32,
Church first, is always a factor for Sundays. Then it is relaxing as much as possible, writing or just watching television that is not so loud and full of action. It has to be something calm and pleasing to watch.
Being stressed on Sunday is not good for the rest of the week. If I am calm and well relaxed on Monday morning, I feel as if the rest of the week will go quickly without too many hitches at work or at home.
Sunday is the day that mostly sets the mood for the next few days. Usually, my weekdays are really good, because Sunday had the right atmosphere, pleasant!

very good!
I'm breathing a sigh of relief right now for some quiet sit down time....
my daughter and I are watching some tv, and both of us on our computers.
Tomorrow is the first day of public school. I homeschool her, but we've been slowly getting into schoolwork this week and tomorrow will mark the first full day for us too.

Sunday is usually kind of a catch up day for me. During the week I have fill orders every morning and that can take up most of the morning, so on Sundays I usually have some housework that needs catching up on or some computer stuff that needs caught up on. It is nice because I don't have to drive anyone anywhere or pack and orders so I can usually get some stuff done un-interupted. We do cook out a lot on Sundays in the Summer and sometimes we hang out with friends but usually it is about catching up. I am making enchilads for dinner tonight, so that will be a nice dinner.

Enchiladas sound good!
I just got back from Wal-Mart giving my daughter and her boyfriend a ride to buy his son school shoes.
I had to take my grandson along too and buy him a new pair too since his father could only find 1 of his new shoes. ggrrrrr

My husband and I usually listen to Croatian and Serbian programs on a local radio station that we like. Next week we're going to the Serbian Food Festival.

I hope you share some of the food ideas. Knowing your husband, I am sure he will be picking up some new recipe ideas to fix at home. Have lots of fun.

Well Leah....I don't know what either of those words mean, although you've used them a lot in your posting.
Best of luck finding those new recipes for home while you are out.

it's a wroking day for me. my off days from work are thursday and friday. it's a choice. i don't wanna go out with lots of people in the street or somewhere which usually happens here during weekends.
anyway, on sundays.. i try to sleep all day, eat and eat.. go online for a while before sleep then go to work at night.

I'm pretty much with you if you are talking of avoiding crowds at weekend events.
I'm a homebody...or at least I try to be.

Sunday is basically my do-nothing day. I catch up on reading and online stuff if I feel like it. Today, I did take Tidbit out for a bit, as there's a new emergency animal care facility in our neighborhood that had a grand opening bazaar. It was fun and Tidbit enJOYed it mostly, except for the cats. They were set up to do free nail clippings for dogs and cats, so I took advantage of that, too.

I try to make it to all of my sites. I have a goal of starting to write for all of these sites I have signed up for in the past. So many people tell me you can build good residuals with them. @Marsha, I get up at 5:00 am so usually go to bed before ten, for the working week. @ abitosunshine--if I wanted to design my own Christmas Cards is Cafe Press the site I want to use? I have poetry , and I have pictures in my mind that need to get to paper.

Except for the cats?? Now you know that I am a cat lover! LOL
I just warned them all yesterday that I planned on doing about nothing today other than church and swimming this afternoon. I've pretty well stuck to that now.
Must get into the other 2 sites we do though for some points.

I know, Marsha, lol, and so do I, but my dog Tidbit does not want a thing to do with critters that go "Meow." And she doesn't like small dogs either, although she'll tolerate puppies.
I doubt I'll make it to any other networks today. Sunday is also my night to get offline early to watch Army Wives, then read myself to sleep early for a change.

If it wasn't for church I would try that sleeping in until noon thing LOL
Seems I just don't have a day of the week to do that...someone always needs me to take them somewhere or something.

We almost always go to church. I have started fixing "Sunday breakfast" after church, because we love breakfast foods and seldom have time for big breakfasts. It certainly keeps us out of the restaurant crowd. Sometimes we go for a drive. I read a little while. I will go downstairs and rustle up a little food, and I will be back here, but my computer routine is certainly more relaxed on Sunday.

I do not like breakfast for breakfast, but love it any other time of the day!
I've only been able to be on the computer off and on today, but I'm on now until I head to bed, which will be about midnight.

Sunday is my only day off. I have 2 jobs. Sunday we travel about 40 min to go to Church and sometimes eat out afterwards with some of the congregation. It is my only day to do errands and things during the day so we might go to Walmart or Target, grocery shopping, out to eat, etc.

We have some members at our church that travel each Sunday to come to church. It's great to know they feel we are much of a family to be willing to do so.
Sounds like you have found that church as well.

I begin my Sundays by attending church services. When i get home, the rest of the day is mine. I don't like to get involved in too many household chores. I just like this time to relax and enjoy the rest of the day.

Sundays are either spent with our families or just relaxing at our house or in the backyard.
If my husband is working, my son and I might go to a movie. Sometimes we will play games. Sunday is always a good day also for me to catch up on some things I like to do like scrapbooking.

Hi.
Almost every two sundays i took it, in the morning i go out with my mother to the "chinatown" of my country, and buy something or have breakfast, we get at the house around 11:00, then i stay in the house resting, watch tv. The others sundays i'm with my kids, playing, sometimes we go the park, friends house.

On Sundays I usually just spend the day relaxing. I usually watch television or I'm on the computer or my iPod. I need to start reading more and stop pretty much living on electronics. I used to go to church on Sundays when I was younger but I've stopped going for a while now.
