I just signed up for AC, and realized it was a big mistake.
If you're not a US resident, they wont pay you for your articles. Honestly, I think they should state that in their home page so they don't get the hopes up of users from other countries.
I'm trying to find a way to come up with money quickly, but options are limited.
I don't know where to turn in terms of writing sites, I have a couple of articles I wrote years ago and would like to submit somewhere to earn from them.
Google searches have failed to yield any good results, so I guess I'm going to have to stick to what I know already, which is limited now that many online earning options have turned into scams.

Yes, responses here are correct. They would not reveal that kind of information in there homepage. There is a venue in the said site that discusses this. As for as I know with AC, they just do not pay you upfront but you still have a chance to earn through the unique views. Just confirm it with their site if you have time.
Meanwhile, I am now utilizing triond, bukisa, and factoidz to post my articles.

I don't know of a single writing site that will tell that kind of information on the home page. All you had to do was hit the "Help" button before signing up and you would have found what you needed to know. Part of being able to earn money writing online is being able to read help files and follow guidelines.
