If you had no more music like if your iPod broke or anything how long could you go without any music whatsoever ever? I know I personally could only go a few weeks before I had to start singing to myself! I think we take music for granted. It is hard to just stop listening well at least for me so what do u guys think?

Without any music, i think i'd look for it but if i can't find it then i'll let go of it.. We can actually survive without music if you think about it.

For me music plays a critical role in alleviating stress, such as doing my studies and exercise. I like to listen to heavy metal to help me forget that i've been running on a treadmill for an hour. Music helps keep my mind off things and over all helps keep my in control. In response to your question I don't think i would last too long without my music. I would have to resort to singing to myself when i'm alone.

It would be hard, but I think I could manage, I sing to myself constantly anyways. I work at home and some days I just don't turn on the TV or anything and I just start singing or humming. If I am in my car though I have to have some noise it can be an audio book or music either one, but I can not stand being in a quiet car.

I am totally addicted to music. It is as if I have a jukebox that is playing non-stop in my head, so I have to listen to music on the radio. The longest I went without listening to music was a whole weekend, both of my boys were sick and couldn't handle ANY noise, even the TV had to stay off. It was one of the longest weeneds ever.....

I think it would be ok. As long as it's not permanent though. Anyway, I'm a musician and I could create music if I can't listen to devices spouting music. So it'll definitely ok but of course I wouldn't want that to happen since I always listen to music in everything that I do.

I could go forever but I wouldn't be very happy about it.. I'd be going crazy. I'm used to blasting my stereo everyday, I plug my Ipod into it so that's kind of necessary. If it broke though I would be heading over the the Apple store to buy a new one ASAP.
