Could you survive

If you were trapped on a deserted island out in the middle of the ocean could you survive if so how long? If you couldn't why not? I personally think I could probably survive at least 8 months then I would go crazy. The zero human contact would be the thing that would kill me or atleat my mind.

Thats pretty good. I think I could live my whole life on a deserted island. I am educated on the topic quite well. I plan on doing this sometime in my life for at least 3 years in a row, and maybe even to the point where I die. I'd love to do a bunch of spear fishing, foraging, shelter building, etc.. I love that kind of stuff.
