I've seen a lot of people falling in lines just to purchase a lottery ticket.., all of them hoping to win the jackpot and change their lives forever.., some of them wouldn't wanna take risk of losing.., and would want to purchase more than one ticket.., It is fun.. but lately,, I've noticed a lot of lottery tickets in our trash accumulated since early this year.. I counted it and estimated how much money was spent for those tickets.. and not a single of it won.., and I realized how big money was spent just to have a chance of winning..but I don't think it's wise to spend for those too much.., You could have used that money for something else.., something that is realistic and you really needed..right?

Well of course, i think it is a waste of money. not many things happen like winning the lottery and becoming rich over night. most of the people who are rich, really did worked hard for their achievements and I think that only means that we should not leave our lives to chances. We should work for it - makes it even better when you become successful through your own sweat and tears.

very well said my friend... if you want to reach the peak of the mountain.., you will to sweat your way up.., every step that will bring you higher and nearer to your goal has a corresponding excruciating pain on your foot.., but once you get on top.., you'll fill the joy of fulfillment., but if you waste your time on living with chances.., that along the way someone might pass by and carry you to your goal.., you'll be heading nowhere..=)

Yeah you've got the point there but typically people are loved to gamble and hoping to hit the jackpot that would certainly change their way of lives. Buying such lottery tickets doesn't mean you have wasted some of your money because certain percentage of your beat are going to some charity institutions and among others that the Lottery sponsored. So, your money not really wasted instead you are helping few people that really need some assistance. If you've realized how big the money you've spend in purchasing such tickets, try to realized then how big your money you have contributed to such people who need your help.

I never tried buying lottery tickets but you can think of it as giving to charities which i believe ends up there anyway.
