Street foods..is It safe? / myLot

I saw a lot of kids were buying street foods outside their school..and it makes me worry about their health.A lot of diseases can get through improper handling and preparing of foods..I wonder are those street vendors assured that they prepared the foods clean with good sanitary habit?Is it safe to eat?

They say these street foods is not safe because of where it is cooked and how it was prepared. I am eating street foods since I am young but I think I am still healthy.

I guess it depends a bit on where you live. In my country there are a lot of laws related to street food and they do health inspections regularly, so here it is pretty safe to eat street food, but I am not sure that is the case everywhere.
