It depends on the individual, how they apply makeup, and their skincare. I wear makeup everyday but I also know that I need to wash it all off with the right skincare.

Hi, tkonlinevn. I don't wear make up myself. When I was a teenager I wore mascara. My aunt saw me with it on, and she told me that I did not need it on at all. So from then on, I did not wear any makeup anymore. I don't wear blush nor do I wear eyeliner. I have tried wearing these a few times in the past. I did not like it. I don't need any make up at all on my skin. Many people used to ask me if I wore make up. I told them no. That was just how my skin looked. I love to be natural. I will be honest with you, every now and then I usually will wear lipstick or a shiny lip gloss on my lips.

I don't use make up. Well I do, maybe for special occasions and other important happenings, but other than that I don't really put anything on my face except chapstick and eyeliner. I'd agree that it will ruin your face after because of all the chemicals and substances found on makeups.

The only make-up I wear, if it's even "make-up" is lipgloss. I'm allergic to most other make-ups, and I've been told I don't need it. Everyone always thinks I'm wearing mascara because I have natural long, dark eyelashes. ;)

Yeah right you are...but the effects will be lesser if you use them wisely, and right product in right way. I also think very young girls should not use make up but I can be less restricted for young adults. girls from this age always want them to look gorgeous, stunning , beautiful and attractive. and a good make up can do a lot to give them confidence, self image, a good personality and hope. So I don't think it's always bad. But to choose the right thing is important. Products that goes with the skin tone, natural ingredients, less chemicals, not out of date are the main things to keep in mind while selecting a particular product. But teen or young girls are more beautiful as they are naturally. But if they become a bit concern and fashionable then a little wise application of make up can help them build up their confident. Using light eye shadow(soft pink, beige, light orange),liner, mascara, and natural lip gloss is enough I guess.
