Do you have the habit of keeping your phone nearby and available for 24 hours?

Cell phone plays an important role in our everyday life.It connects people closely and affords us important information.I feel a little blank sometimes when my phone is dead or is forgot somewhere.I can't help myself thinking that whether someone will call me or not.
I just want to know whether others have this habit.Does it normal?

Cell phones are boons as well as banes, my job profile is such that i have to be available on phone 24 x 7, so you can imagine... i take my phone to bed with me and it is always at a hand distance when i am at home. I carry it along everywhere even to the bathroom. Its crazy but i do not wear a watch cos i am so used to looking into my cell phone each time. It is silly what technology a reduced a human being into...

Since mu cell phone is the only phone I have and use, I have it on from early morning to just before I go to bed, as I don't need to leave it on all night long, and besides, I don't sleep all that well anyway, and when I do sleep, I certainly don't want to be disturbed. I don't work nor do I have a business, so I just don't need to have it on 24 hours a day. Take care, and have a very good day.

I think almost everybody who owns a cell phone keeps it with them at all times. Everybody is texting and calling whenever they need to because they have a phone with them at all times. I do this too.
