no, i don't think so. each of us have our own talents one can find and utilize in our life. idolizing celebrities can limit ones ability to find his or her best talents.

I might say NO! because celebrities are just persons like us. They only live for what they believe is right for them. and I think that could be part of their job, to entertain their viewers and at the same time to become known.

It's very dangerous to expect anything but entertainment from these Hollywood deities and demigods. The only way to sell you movies and music is to create the ultimate form of marketing commerce by forcing you to worship these strange rituals of the modern empire. So remember kiddies after you eat your candies make sure and brush your teeth.

As role models not just to our youngs I believe they have a social responsibility in promoting positive values. I hope I'm not asking too much because they have a right to live their own lives as they are just as human. But the least they should be sensitive enough to the sentiments of many who have brought them fame and fortune.

Someone yes, someone no.There are some celebrities who have a bad life:fight with fans or with husbands(wifes),go to prison or something like that.I think these celebrities don't deserve to be or idol. Some of them became members of organization which fight against SIDA or cancer and they make more actions like collect money or talk with people! These celebrities have my respect! All the best!

No, we should look up to people who we know in real life. Even the celebrities who seem like good role models, we don't really know anything about them. They have a certain image they have to present to the public, but how are we to know they are really that good.. or if they're really worth looking up to. I prefer to look up to people from where I live who I have met before.
