I am aware that Amzoncom is the largest and most popular website for shopping online. You can get tons of software, jewelries, music and movies and many more which you can purchase online. i just step into the shopping world of the internet and i want to get good information first before making an online purchase.
In Amazon when i searched for a microsoft product, amazon displays different prices:
actual=xxx,
new= xx(this amount is twice or more cheaper than the actual one) and
used= x(very cheap)
why there are different prices for a single product? Are these products being sold by individuals or Amazon itself? and can we have risks that there are viruses on these products links, mp3..?

I have never had a problem with Amazon.com, you just have to be careful of third party sellers and look at their feedback rating just like on eBay. I try to buy from the site if the product is in stock and I do use Amazon.com when I want to buy most of the things I want. It's a great site you just have to be careful with third party sellers.

Some products are new so they would cost more.
Some of the products come from companies that partner up with Amazon. Amazon sells their products at the prices the company states, while some things on Amazon I believe are sold by individuals. The prices can be different if you have 2 companies selling the same product.
