Arjun Atwal becomes first Indian to win a title in the PGA Tour!!

Arjun Atwal becomes the first Indian a PGA tour title when he won at Wyndham Championship in North Carolina. It is a breakthrough in Golf as Indians have been knocking for quite some time on the big stage without winning much. What are your views on this? Cheers! Ram

It is such a big thing for indian golf and people look at him and say if he can do it why cant i?? It is such a huge thing for me atleast because for a country mad about cricket and nothing else id doing well in other sports. If only these other sports like golf,hockey,tennis,badminton,soccer,etc were having better recognition than cricket it would be so good for people who are good at those other sports. Congratulation to Arjun Atwal for doing such an incredible job.

Yes, it takes a Leander Paes, a Vishwanathan Anand or now an Arjun Atwal to bring in interest into the other games. Actually even cricket took off in a big way once India won the world cup. Cheers! Ram
