weird mushroom

It is very beautiful, whatever it is. There are so many thousands of different mushrooms in the world, many of them not even recorded. This is one of the kind that has a 'honeycomb' type of gill structure, something like the edible (and very delicious) mushroom Europeans know as the Morel. I can't say whether yours is edible or not but only a minority of mushrooms are actually poisonous - most are simply not good to eat and might give you a mild stomach ache. The ones that are poisonous, however, tend to make you very sick if you eat them, so it's wise to very positive in identification and to take the advice of someone with local knowledge of what is safe and what is not.
